Your are planning your kid birthday parties. Your child got 1 year older. For months now he/she is asking you when is my birthday. He/she is dreaming about their birthday party. You want this to be a memorable occasion. There is a lot of work involved planning this event.

If this is a first or second birthday party, it will probably be mostly adults. You will do a children's theme. But your program will be more geared to adults.

Next think about setting up your room. Make it look like its a kids birthday party. Get balloons, streamers, table cloths and dishes to match your theme. Buy a pinata to match your theme. Play pin the tail on the donkey but change it a bit for example a baseball theme party would do pin the baseball in the field. Play "simple Simon say" and change the wording to match your theme.

You want to give something back to your guest that came and made your party so special. Give personalized birthday party favors . Give the kids at the party something they will enjoy and or a snack or candy that matches your theme.
